It’s been five years since the Black Summer bushfires – some of the most intense and catastrophic on record. Thirty-three people died, nine of which were firefighters. Now the public is being offered a taste of what first responders faced when confronted by the power and fury of the inferno through a new immersive artwork called Flashover, which opened in Melbourne today. 7.30’s Alysia Thomas-Sam reports.
The Flashover Team was delighted to work with ABC 7.30 Report on this preview story.
