Artist Talk At Blast Theory

As the six weeks of being Artist in Residence at Blast Theory draws to a close I am preparing a talk about what I’ve been up to. Please join us for (FREE) pizza and a discussion about the future on the other side of the world. Details below.

Come along to the Blast Theory studios on Thursday 31st May to hear current artist in residence Robert Walton talk about his current work – and have a slice or two of pizza with us.

Robert Walton is a collaborative artist whose work spans theatre, installation, writing and media art. A creative trailblazer, he has been credited with creating “the world’s first piece of iPad theatre” (The Independent, UK) and has toured his work in the United Kingdom, Europe and Australia.

Robert will discuss the work he has been developing in residence with us since April – a large-scale participative public artwork with AR and performance. His work asks, can we rehearse a future that is fairer than our past?

Where: Blast Theory, Unit 5, 20 Wellington Road, Portslade, Brighton, BN41 1DN

When: Thursday 31st May 2018, 6.30pm – 7.30pm

Admission is free but please let us know you will be coming by emailing Anna on: volunteer(at)blasttheory.co.uk
